To model an innovative future through educating youth and their communities and to change the negative perception of the energy industry that evolved due to environmental concerns and misconceptions about the general workforce.
The Permian Outreach Energy Internship strives to both advocate and educate diverse communities about the importance of a vast energy industry, job opportunities, and the present effort to improve the environmental impact. Participants are able to obtain first-hand experiences and accounts of the work-field, work to fix present day issues the energy industry is battling, and interact with employees and their careers.
